Ever since Starbucks arrived at Disneyland, it appears to be the number one place to go for coffee at the resort. Don’t be fooled by the Disney-themed names, DIsneyland Resort has 4 Starbucks coffee locations. Two of these can be found in Downtown Disney. Inside Disneyland Park you’ll find the Starbucks at Market House, located on Main Street. And Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Cafe houses the Starbucks at Disney California Adventure. But with such popularity also comes longer lines. And as badly as you may need that Iced Americano, your little ones might not always be as willing to “waste” precious Disney time. So I’ve decided to comprise a list of other convenient spots to grab a quick coffee drink while at the resort. (In no particular order)Coffee Carts – There is one on Main Street, near the entrance to Frontierland and another in California Adventure next to the bridge between Paradise Pier and Pacific Warf. These carts sell regular hot or iced coffee to which you can add flavored syrups such as caramel, vanilla, or hazelnut. Both carts carry pastries as well and the the cart on Main Street is also known for its decadently topped donuts.Jolly Holiday Bakery is a favorite of mine for a quick espresso. They have a small but adequate variety of hot and iced coffee drinks as well as seasonal drinks (currently serving Pumpkin Spice Latte). Jolly Holiday also has what I consider to be the best breakfast sandwich in the parks. It is a croissant sandwich, loaded with flavorful scrambled eggs and cheese (it also comes with bacon, but I order mine without because I’m vegetarian). If you enjoy people-watching, the outdoor seating is located right on Main Street and it’s a great place to grab a bite in the morning and watch excited guests entering the park. I love to start Dapper Day mornings here and watch as all of the fabulous outfits stroll in.Carnation Cafe gets an honorable mention here because it is a table service restaurant and therefore not at all the most convenient place to grab a coffee; but their cafe mocha is one of my favorite drinks in the whole park. It’s a delicious cross between a latte and a hot chocolate, topped in whipped cream and chocolate syrup. If Disneyland itself were a cup of coffee… it would be this. The Coffee House – Ok, so this may seem obvious, given its name. I am including it anyway because if you are not staying on-property at the resort, you may not know it exists or where it is. The Coffee House is located a The Disneyland Hotel and is a great place to stop for coffee on your way in to the park or when you need to escape the crowds for a mid-day pick-me-up. Unrelated, but also worth mentioning, this is also the only place at Disneyland resort where you can get a Dole Whip with rum. You’re welcome!Photo via Disneyland.comSchmoozies is a smoothie and snack stand located in Hollywood Land with a self-proclaimed “epic’ coffee menu, similar to that of Jolly Holiday. But what makes Schmoozies unique is the Make Mine Mocha — a frozen chocolated espresso drink topped with whipped cream and chocolate. It’s basically a chocolate milkshake with a kick of caffeine. I can’t finish a whole one on my own, but it’s great if you like sweet drinks!Club 33 – For those who may not know, tucked away above Disneyland’s New Orleans Square is a private restaurant and lounge called Club 33. If you’re fortunate enough to be a member or a guest of a member (I was the latter), you can have a cup of the most exclusive coffee in all the land. Though it is far from the “best” coffee I’ve ever had, it is still very good coffee. But best of all, it comes with a cocoa dusting of the number “33” on top of the foam for your instagram-sharing convenience. These are of course only a small few of the many places there are to find coffee at the Disneyland Resort. Did I miss your favorite? Let me know! I’m always on the hunt for new places to eat and drink in the parks. Happy National Coffee Day!!!
